Dear Students and Parents/ Guardians,
Greetings of the season! I take this opportunity to thank all of you for your cooperation to Carmel
School’s growth. I congratulate the ICSE & ISC Students for their good performance in Board Examinations. I also congratulate our teachers and parents for your constant support and accompaniment on the academic journey of our students. As the new Principal of this prestigious institution, I know Ihave a lot to do for taking Carmel to new heights. I am sure all the parents will fully co-operate with us in the growth of Carmel, so that their children may benefit from all of us.
The role of a school is not only to pursue academic excellence but also to motivate and empower its students to be lifelong learners, critical thinkers and productive members of an ever-changing global society. I am convinced that the students of today need a strong academic ambience along with a strong moral and ethical edifice as foundation for their success. They need to be conscious of their learning responsibility by regularly asking the following questions to themselves: Why am I here in Carmel School? (Consciousness). Am I growing in critical and analytical thinking? (Competency). Do I make judicious decisions with regard to study? (Compassion). Am I able to stand for good values? (Conviction). What students need is education for transformation and not merely a degree with inflated grades.
I promise you that we uphold social awareness and sensitization in every academic and co- scholastic activity in the school. The faculty members and staff are at the side and accompany your children to their destination of compassionate learning with human excellence. Parents play a vital role in the overall development of the child. The foundation of a successful school is a shared commitment between dedicated teachers, motivated students and enthusiastic parents. I do count on your support and co- operation.
May God bless you and your family!
